Dungarpur's Daya Lal Prajapati Appointed President of Rajasthan Darpan Association, Kuwait

Udaipur, Aug 17, 2025: Daya Lal Prajapati (Kumhar) has been appointed the President of the Rajsthan Darpan Associaiton in Kuwait.  He was appointed on unanimous consent of the officials and members of the Rajasthan Darpan Association, which is a leading community organisation that represents the Rajasthani diaspora in Kuwait. The tenure of his designation will be for a period of three (3) years.

About Rajasthan Darpan Association, Kuwait

The RDA, conceptualised and established in 2009 by Dhanpal Panchal in 2009, has served as a pillar for the Rajasthani community in Kuwait. With the support of its members and volunteers, the RDA has unrelentingly worked towards humanitarian activities and culture preservation.

RDA, through its regular health checkup camps, ensured access to medical care by conducting free health check-up camps. Each year, the RDA provides winter wear to underpriveleged students from Class 1-5 in Rajasthan. The association also works towards assisting community members in distress-particularly those who lack lack information, medical care for severe illness or non recoverable diseases or financial resources. They help these members in overcoming these challenges and return to their homeland in India. The Rajasthan Darpan Association has been officially recognised (registered) at the Indian Embassy in Kuwait.

About Daya Lal Prajapati

Daya Lal hails from the Gariata region of Galiyakot in Dungarpur district. He has a working experience of nearly 25 years in promoting Visa, media, labor insurance and Kuwait's policies with respect to NRI and is currently working as Senior Travel Consultant in Caesar's Travel Group (International Wing).

When in India, he was the Mandal President of BJP Gaureshvar Mandal OBC Morcha. A student leader and active member of many non-profit organizations in the country, he has also been playing a leading role in movements like anti-corruption, social reform and animal protection.

In his statement to media, Daya Lal affirmed his commitment to the RDA, to ensure a solution to every problem of the community, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait. Medical assistance, air tickets and emergency assistance, blood donation, accident care, labor insurance, information about new government rules and awareness campaigns will be the main ones.
