Dead Body of Endangered Species found at Kotda
At around 6:30 yesterday evening, the dead body of a Honey Badger was found by a few villagers at Fulwari Ki Naal near Kotda.
The villagers subsequently informed the Forest Ranger of the region, R.C. Meena at 10 pm, who in turn brought the body to Udaipur, where it was kept at the Zoo from 12 am till today morning.

Then on, the dead body was transferred to the City Veterinary Hospital for post mortem; the report of which is expected in a couple of days.
The Honey Badger, also known as the Ratel, is a classified species under the First Wild Life Act 1997. Though named as a Badger, it resembles more of a Weasel.
