Debari-Kaya 6 lane bypass is under completion and very soon traffic activities would begin here.  The bypass being constructed on 65 acres of land has started taking its serpentile form. With a budget of 891 crore rupees, this bypass work is being conducted on a war-footing.

The main over-bridge which is 405 metres long is ready, which means that 75 percent work is over. 2 half loops have been constructed for going up and down the bridge. Connecting roads are being constructed around the bridge. 2 railway lines are on this bypass for which over bridges are being made. As informed by the director of National Highway Authority of India, this Debari-Kaya highway work is being done under 3 stages and hopefully the work will be completed by November provided all goes well.

The bypass will provide immense relief from traffic and the accident rate will also go down. Traffic coming from Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Pindwara and Ahmedabad will be diverted from Debari providing relief from traffic jams.
