A report has been presented by Dr Madhubala Chauhan, Superintendent Janana Hospital, regarding the issue of male doctor slapping and poking scissors on a woman in the Janana hospital. The factual report has been given after taking all the required statements. The Principal will give decision on this report today i.e. Wednesday 8^th May 2019.

It may be noted that a male doctor has been accused of slapping a woman post delivery and going to the extent of poking scissors at her stitches and using abusive language. The matter was raised in the office of District Collector Anandi who ordered for immediate investigation of the case. Statements of the staff were taken and those on leave were called for giving their statements. It is yet another issue that Dr. Goyal, the accused, has denied the allegations.

The College Council meeting will take place today presided by Dr DP Singh. Other doctors will also be present and together they will discuss the issue and give the council’s decision today. Dr DP Singh has said that strict action will be taken against the culprit.
