Even after three months since Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the National President of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena was assassinated, his family still awaits justice. Protesting the slow pace of investigation by the NIA and the delay in justice, the Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena organized a protest outside the Udaipur District Collector's office on 5 March and submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Jeevan Singh of the Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena pointed out that the police administration has yet to guarantee the safety of the witnesses to the assassination of Gogamedi.
Meanwhile, Sheela Shekhawat, the wife of Gogamedi has embarked on a foot march towards the Chief Minister's residence, demanding justice.
They announced that if justice is not served, they will opt for self-immolation outside the CM's residence, with all Karni Sena activists joining in. As a result, if there is a deterioration in law and order within the state, the full accountability will rest on the state government.
