The Sohna-Dausa stretch, according to NHAI officials, would ease traffic in Gurgaon and relieve pressure on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. On February 12, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway between Sohna - Dausa stretch. To welcome PM Modi, three new helipads are being constructed at the Dausa intersection.

The highway will reduce the travel time between Jaipur and Delhi, it will now take only three hours. It takes one hour to travel from Jaipur to the Dausa junction, and 2.5 hours to get from Dausa to Delhi from the highway. The expressway's average vehicle speed will be 120 km/h.

This expressway will directly connect to Jaipur Ring Road (Agra Road), 10 km ahead of Dausa (Dwarapura-ShyamSingh Pura Change 168-550) by NHAI. Travel time to Jaipur will also be reduced by 30-40 minutes. The project director has estimated that this 67 km road construction project will complete in 18 months.

The Expressway's Security Measures

High-quality PTZ cameras that can spin 360 degrees and monitor every car, are mounted at every intersection of the highway. The cameras will notify the control room of any mishap or issue.

A buzzer will ring if anyone who stands on the road or stops their vehicle on the highway. The expressway's big screen will provide information about inclement weather, fog jams, and divergence issues. Restrooms are available every 50 km along the highway. E-Challan will be issued if you do not follow the traffic rules.

Rs. 2.20/- per km toll will be charged at the interchange but there will be no toll plaza stops for this. The toll tax would be charged at the interchange according to the distance travelled.
