Udaipur, March 27, 2025 - With the arrival of summer, the demand for Saras Dairy products has started increasing. The consumption of kulfi, buttermilk, and lassi has suddenly risen in Udaipur.

Since Udaipur Dairy does not produce ice cream, one ton of ice cream has been procured from Bhilwara Dairy to meet the rising demand. Kulfi and mawa peda are also being prepared as per market needs.

At the beginning of March, the daily consumption of buttermilk was 3,000 liters. Now, it has increased to 6,000 to 8,000 liters per day. Similarly, the daily consumption of lassi has also reached 3,000 liters, whereas earlier it was only 1,500 liters.

Dairy Union Chairman Dalchand Dangi said that kulfi is currently being produced according to market demand. Udaipur Dairy receives a supply of 1.25 lakh liters of milk daily. The city's consumption is around 75,000 liters, while the remaining 50,000 liters of milk are sent to Bhilwara and Ajmer Dairy.
