On Monday, July 5, 2024, Rajya Sabha Member Chunnilal Garasiya demanded a survey of tourist spots in Rajasthan to include them in tourist circuits.

He proposed surveying new tourist sites in Banswara, Dungarpur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, and Bhilwara. Including these sites in the tourist circuits would provide employment opportunities for the poor, laborers, and business class residing in these areas for their livelihood.

During Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Garasiya urged the Government of India to take action. He highlighted his roots in Mewar, Udaipur, the land of the brave warriors. Garasiya mentioned that Udaipur, a world-famous tourist destination, is known as the 'City of Lakes.' It is considered the most attractive tourist city in northern India.
