Illegal constructions are constantly being carried out in Udaipur. People have no fear of law and it seems that they are not even bothered about the losses that would follow after action is taken against them. UIT and Municipal Corporation came into action again on Friday and took strict action against the illegally constructed structures in various areas.

There was quite a stir when the teams reached these areas where buildings have been constructed illegally. The teams demolished some of the illegal constructions, seized some shops and even served notices to a lot of people.

UIT demolished illegal constructions in Hiranmagri Sector-14, Savina Kheda, on government property South Extension project Balicha. Some constructions were also done in the periphery of roads which were demolished. Basically the teams have been on war-footing regarding illegal constructions.

Municipal Corporation seized 4 shops in Shakti Nagar which were constructed without following the procedures for land conversion. 30 other shops and showrooms have been served notices to have the conversions done at the earliest failing which action would be taken by seizing the properties.

As per information, a school in Savina had encroached upon the land adjoining the school building. This land is UIT property on which the school management had constructed boundary wall and converted the place into a garden. The 4 bigha land that was illegally encroached was taken over by UIT on Friday.
