The roadways workers continued their protest against proposed privatization of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) today. The workers on call of all four trade unions demonstrated at City Bus Depot.

Mahesh Upadhaye informed that the protest will become more intense in coming days. The workers will put black flags on all 5500 buses of RSRTC, which will be followed by black strip on their uniforms.

Upadhaye informed that total 80 bus depots of RSRTC across state are included for privatization. The decision will affect more than 22000 employees working on various posts of corporation.

Upadhaye further added that after this proposed privatization, other private buses will also be operated using same infrastructure. The decision will put an end on identity of RSRTC permanently.
