A new series of registration numbers is now available for 2 wheelers. This new number series begins with RJ-27-UE. As informed by the RTO, people can apply for their desired numbers by paying the fees for it.

The most expensive registration numbers available are 0001 and 0786 which are available for 1 lakh 10 thousand rupees. This is followed by numbers which are for 51,000 rupees; the series is 2 to 9 and 11, 101, 1111 and 9999. Leaving aside 1111 and 9999 the registrations bearing similar digits in 3s or 4s are available for 21,000 rupees and other desired numbers are available for 11,000 rupees. Anyone who wishes to retain the old number on a new vehicle will have to pay 21,000 rupees.
