Udaipur’s top FM radio station, 94.3 My FM has made some prompt modifications in their workforce by adding few new faces in the team of RJs after promoting and transferring ‘Salaam Udaipur’ fame RJ Himanshu to Jodhpur as an Executive Producer (EP).

In place of Himanshu, Jodhpur’s popular RJ Payal has been promoted to the position of Executive Producer and will also continue Himanshu’s Salaam Udaipur morning show which is aired from 7-11am.

Another RJ from Jaipur, Suri Chouhan will be hosting the Happy Evening show from 5-9pm.

Payal (in photo) and Suri are the latest addition to the team of 94.3 My FM which is going to mark its 4^th anniversary on 7^th July 2011 since it launched in 2007 as the first FM radio channel in Udaipur.

“These changes are not sudden; we did it with intense planning and prosecution. Our aim is to bring a completely fresh and new atmosphere to our listeners. I believe in innovations and that’s make people listen to our FM,” said Devendra Pathak, Station Director of 94.3 My FM.

When asked about RJ Himanshu’s transfer Mr. Pathak said “Himanshu have to be promoted, he always did good but he too need an exposure for his own career. Certainly, you have to move out to grow yourself. Himanshu is promoted as EP, however about which show he is going to host in Jodhpur, it is yet to be decided”.

Payal Sharma (RJ Payal), who is also known as “Dhakkad Chhori” because her ancestral place is located in Haryana, has already started hosting Salaam Udaipur from 22^nd June. Payal is well known in Jodhpur for her clear and touching voice and bubbly personality. The RJ, who is an electronics and communications engineer Payal said while talking to UT “I started my career from Ajmer’s Super FM in 2007. After that I joined 94.3 My FM Udaipur in 2008-09 when I used to do a show “Khichdi”. Today, I am so happy to be back to this beautiful lake city. I just hope I will receive the same affection from people here.”

On the other hand, 23 year old Suri Chouhan (in photo) who is thrilled by the awesome monsoon weather of Udaipur is ready to give full tune entertainment, fun and information on his show Happy Evening.

Suri, who belongs to Jodhpur, is a multi talented personality; he worked in a number of event companies in the past and finally landed a job as a radio jockey at 94.3 My FM, Jaipur last year. The confident looking Suri said “I create my own show and try to add all fun and information to it. As I quoted several times on nair “Naam hai mera Suri aur baat karta hu mein puri”, I always say what I am sure of and what I feel.”

We wish both Payal and Suri all good lucks and hope our own Himanshu is enjoying the new post and new city.
