Udaipur, December 9, 2024 - During the Maha Kumbh Mela, which is set to begin in January, direct flights will operate from Prayagraj Airport to 23 cities in India. This proposal has been approved. These cities include Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Jabalpur, apart from Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Dehradun, Chandigarh and Indore.

Direct flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bilaspur, Raipur and Hyderabad are already operational. Flights will also operate at night from the airport.

The Kumbh Mela takes place in Prayagraj, Nashik, Ujjain and Haridwar and is scheduled from January 13 to February 26, 2025.
