Considering the possibility of heavy winds and cyclonic effects due to changing weather condition, the district administration has put all departments related to disaster management on high alert.

Considering the possibility of heavy winds and cyclonic effects due to changing weather condition, the district administration has put all departments related to disaster management on high alert.

Section Incharge of Disaster Management, Relief & Civil Defence Department, C.R.Devasi has issued notice to all related department to be on alert. Search and rescue teams have also been activated. Considering the possibility of damage to property owing to high wind speeds, electricity, water and traffic departments have been placed on specific alerts.

Casual leaves of all officials of these departments have been cancelled.

The satellite map shows cyclonic circulation sitting over an area bounded by Udaipur, Chhoti Sadri, Mandsaur, Banswara, and Dungarpur. These developments are owing to continued movement of western disturbances over North-West India. Conditions are expected to trigger thunderstorms and dust storms accompanied by squalls and gusty winds for the next three days
