November 28,2024 - Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam (AVVNL) has launched a strict campaign to recover outstanding electricity bills. The corporation will run this revenue recovery drive until November 30. During this period, connections of consumers who fail to pay their bills will be disconnected.
Focus on High Outstanding Amounts
The campaign will primarily target consumers with large outstanding balances. The authorities aim to clear the pending dues and ensure timely payments from all consumers.
Targets Set for Officials
The Managing Director of AVVNL, KP Verma, has informed that specific targets have been set for officials to recover pending payments from all categories of consumers. This includes Operation and Maintenance (O&M) officers, employees, and vigilance wing personnel.
Disciplinary Action for Failure to Meet Targets
In case any sub-division fails to meet its revenue recovery target, strict disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned staff. The Circle AO (O&M) will provide a progress report to the AO (Revenue) to track the success of the campaign.
