Arvind Poswal, the newly appointed District Collector of Udaipur, conducted his inaugural inspection of Maharana Bhupal Hospital, the largest government facility in the division, on Monday 17 July, 2023. Upon arriving at the hospital, he immediately assessed the situation outdoors. Engaging with the patients, he personally inquired about the challenges they were encountering. During his visit to the hospital premises, Collector Poswal observed the parking situation and promptly issued instructions to Dr. Vipin Mathur, the Principal of RNT Medical College, to enhance the parking system. Following this, he proceeded to inspect various other departments within the hospital, such as the Radiology Department, Outpatient Department, and Super Specialty Unit.

Inquiring about crucial aspects, Collector Poswal engaged with the hospital administration to gather information about the patient count, available tests, machinery, staff, distribution of free medicines, and the provision of free testing schemes. Emphasizing the importance of cleanliness within the hospital, he urged the administration to prioritize this matter. Furthermore, medical officers received clear instructions to prioritize the welfare and well-being of the patients in their work.

Amidst the proceedings, the Collector inaugurated the Chorus Trio machine, generously donated by the Jain Social Group. TAD Commissioner Tarachand Meena graced the occasion with his presence. The machine, as per the provided information, possesses the capability to diagnose several rare diseases in patients. Noteworthy attendees included Principal Dr. Vipin Mathur, former Principal Dr. Lakhan Poswal, and MB Hospital Superintendent Dr. RL Suman, alongside doctors and nursing staff.
