A total of 22 vendors participated in the competition on Diwali day across two categories
Udaipur, November 6, 2024 - The results of the Diwali 2024 decoration competition for major markets and various locations in the city were announced yesterday. The winners were selected based on the evaluation by a district-level committee formed under District Collector Arvind Poswal.
A total of 22 vendors participated in the competition across two categories, showcasing their skills in decoration. The results are as follows:

The prizes for these winners from the Udaipur Municipal Corporation are as follows:
In the first category, the first prize winner will receive Rs 1 lakh, second prize Rs 75,000 and third prize Rs 51,000.
In the second category, the first prize is Rs 31,000, second is Rs 21,000 and third is Rs 15,000.
Additionally, all other participants will receive a consolation prize of Rs 10,000.
The evaluation was conducted by four teams led by CEO of the District Council, Hemendra Nagar, Land Manager Officer Kirti Rathore, Chief Planning Officer Punit Sharma and CDEO Mahendra Singh Badala.
The teams assessed the structures based on three criteria: entrance (20 points), decoration (40 points), and innovation (20 points). Public input also played a role with 20 points allocated for feedback received through an online Google Form.
Chamber of Commerce Competition Results
Results were also announced for the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce Diwali Market Decoration Competition. The competition was organised under coordinator Inder Singh Mehta with support from co-coordinators Rakesh Jain and Alok Pagaria. And the winners were:
