Dear Udaipur... It is a dire situation that the world is in, and our city is no different.  Going by the statistics and information that is circulated in Media (validated) and Social Media (not validated), there is more panic than caution in the air.

Kindly DO NOT take information you recieve on Social Media at its face value. Reports can be verified by calling the local hospital and they will help.

Taking this further, today morning's message on Social Media (WhatsApp and Facebook) warned Udaipur residents that three people in the area of Hiran Magri have been tested positive and that the city needs to take care.

Kindly note that this is FAKE MESSAGE.  Completely false and just meant for creating panic.  Kindly understand that there is a complete process followed by the authorities on all such incidents and the Hospital will take due care in identifying the risk elements and informing the public through Media.

As per UdaipurTimes interaction with Dr RL Suman, Superintendent, Maharana Bhupal Hospital, the above news is untrue to an extent.  This is the statistics shared by the Coronavirus department and is meant for all of us.

Total Patients who visited the Coronavirus department over the last week - till date: 3 (The first patient who had arrived from Kuwait, had gone to hospital voluntarily as she had arrived from Kuwait and the second visitor had arrived from UK to Udaipur via Mumbai, and was taken to quarantine due to his travel history. The third patient, who has arrived to Udaipur from UAE, has again been taken into quarantine from the airport itself due to the travel history.)
