Fatehsagar lake will soon be equipped with a double decker boat, initiated by RTDC (Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation) in second week of May. The boat has already been arrived and watered.

According to Irshad Khan, Contarctor, RTDC, “Basic formalities for starting the service had been fulfilled, which includes NOC (No Objection Certificate) from Irrigation Department, while decoration of the boat in under process.”

Irshad further added that boat has a sitting capacity for 45 passengers, in which 35 would be accommodated on base floor, while 10 on the first level. In a ride of around 1 hour, each passenger will be charged Rs.200 per head, whereas kids below 8 years would be charged 50% and handicapped will be free of charge.

The boat has also been equipped with a telescope on the roof, which will facilitate travelers to observe various points around lake. In round of one hour, a special halt will be given for photography.
