The Bohra Community of Udaipur organized a condolence meet for Dr. Sayyedna Mohammad Burhauniddin (A.Q) at masjids located at Bohrawadi, and Fatehpura. The 52nd Dai-ul-Mutlaq, spiritual Saint of the Dawoodi Bohra Community passed away in Mumbai on 17th January 2014 due to heart attack.

Earlier today morning a giant procession was carried out in Mumbai from his residence Saifee Mahal at Walkeshwar, where around 2.5 lac community members participated.

The procession was followed by a mass gathering in the Masjids, where community members paid condolences to their erstwhile leader.

Udaipur being one among the hub of Dawoodi Bohra Community also organized a mass gathering locally, where the Kul ka Fathia (Dua Al Maghfirat – Litany) was read, where thousands of followers showed up.

As a part of tribute community has decided to keep their respective business closed for 3-days along with 10-days mourning period.
