With dreadful start in the morning at Savina Monday witnessed one more horrible incident in the evening when a foam and car decor shop, near Hotel Kartikeyn located on the lane that goes to the city area from Udaipol Police Chowki caught fire. The incident took place at about 8 pm. The good stock of foam stored in the shop Dheeraj Cushion works soon caught fire, which spread quickly giving rise to alarming situation. The road was blocked to avoid any mishap as it took more than an hour for 5-6 fire brigades to bring the situation under control. Also many other hotels are located in the same area. There is uncertainty about the cause of fire but unofficial sources said that it may be due to short circuit. The other cause is levied on a mouse which carried a burning incense stick and consequently foam caught fire. However, actual reason for this will be revealed after investigation. The shop has been completely damaged due to fire but no casualty has been reported due to the accident.
