A dried tree trunk in the premises of Gualb bagh near the library fell on Monday. The overhanging eave of the library got damaged. Luckily no one has been hurt. The sound of the eave (chajja) falling on one side of Saraswati Library created a sudden commotion among the readers in the building. There are a lot of people frequenting the garden these days and as it was the occasion of Sukhiya Somvar mela, there were a lot of people around. Also a number of students study in the shade of trees. Fortunately there was no one around and under the trees, hence no one has been hurt.  It has been informed that the concerned department has been informed a number of times about this tree, yet no action has been taken.
