Udaipurites will soon find it easier to get driving license since Rajasthan Transport Department is going to start the submission of application and registration certificate of vehicles online. An online application submission system is already developed by NIC and trial is also done successfully in last 15 days, said Jaipur’sRegional Transport Officer Vijapal Singh. The project will be launched this month in seven divisional officers including Udaipur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Kota Bharatpur and Bikaner. The application form would be available online for learning and permanent driving license, registration certificate of vehicles, address change, No Objection Certificate and related purposes with no additional charge, the Regional Transport Officer said. The date and time of test and interview for availing driving license would also be provided online, he said. News via PTI
