Udaipur, January 21, 2025 - Udaipur is all set to host the state-level Republic Day celebrations, featuring exciting events like a drone show, horse riding show, and cultural performances, under the guidance of local officials.

Exciting Events Planned for Republic Day

The Republic Day celebrations in Udaipur will feature a drone show at the Fateh Sagar promenade, which will light up the lakeside with vibrant colors. A horse riding show, especially for children, will also be a major attraction.

Key Details of the Celebration

The state-level Republic Day ceremony will take place on January 26 at Gandhi Ground. The event will be graced by the Honorable Governor Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, who will hoist the national flag, along with Honorable Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma.

"At Home" Event and Cultural Evening

On January 25, 2025, an "At Home" event will be hosted at Saheliyon Ki Bari at 4:00 PM, followed by a cultural evening at 6:00 PM at the Fateh Sagar promenade. Folk artists will perform traditional Rajasthani music and dance, reflecting the state's rich cultural heritage.

Preparations Underway for Celebration

District Collector Arvind Poswal has stated that extensive preparations are being made to ensure this Republic Day celebration is memorable. A Rs 50 lakh drone show, a flower exhibition, and a weapons exhibition by the Indian Army will be part of the celebrations.

Floats from various departments and districts will be part of the Republic Day parade. These floats will showcase the progress made in Rajasthan and highlight the state's cultural pride and history. Major landmarks and intersections are being decorated with colorful lights and floral arrangements.

District Collector Reviews Arrangements

District Collector Arvind Poswal recently visited Gandhi Ground to oversee rehearsals for the march past, physical training drills, and cultural performances. He also reviewed the arrangements for VIP arrivals, seating, and flag hoisting.
