Earthquake Hits Bikaner early Wednesday morning

The earthquake with magnitude 5.3 on the Richter Scale was experienced around 5:24 a.m.

Bikaner experienced jolts even earlier in February recorded at 4.3 Richter Scale. 

Meghalaya and Leh also experienced the earthquake in the early hours.

Various parts of India experienced earthquake early Wednesday morning. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that the earthquake has created a terror in Meghalaya, Leh and Rajasthan.

An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude hit Bikaner around 5:24 a.m. It was experienced 343 km west-north-west of Bikaner at a depth of 110 km. Bikaner experienced the jolts even earlier this year in February on a scale of 4.3.

Similarly Meghalaya experienced the jolts on 4.1 Richter scale at 2:10 a.m. in West Garo Hills. It was around 4:57 a.m. when Leh in Laddakh also experienced the earthquake at 3.6 Richter Scale.

Even Gujarat experienced the tremors on 18th July measuring 3.9 on the Richter Scale. Assam, Bengal, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh also experienced the jolts in July.
