‘Educating stakeholders’, a must for removing Child Labour

‘Educating stakeholders’, a must for removing Child Labour

“The root cause of Child Labour should be targeted to uproot this practice. From the families who send children for labour to the people who recruit and make the children work, everyone needs to be educated.” – Pankaj Tiwari, Consultant, UNICEF said while addressing a program at Karodiya Gram Panchayat.

Pankaj was speaking on the occasion of ‘Anti Child Labour Day’ event at Sarada. The program was organized by Gayatri Seva Sansthan, Udaipur.

Shailendra Pandya, Joint Director, Gayatri Seva Sansthan informed about the various actions and schemes of Government for protecting children and various committees and social security policies established for the same.

R. S. Dhakad, District Child Welfare Committee and Ian Anand, Foster Care India also spoke in the program.

Students, Noji Meena and Mukesh Meena were awarded for their accomplishments.
