Teacher’s Day was celebrated today in City’s schools and colleges by honoring teachers by their students. Various cultural and social activities were also conducted in educational organizations of the city.

The annual event is to mark the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, second President of India. Teacher’s Day is celebrated in every part of India. Generally, students organize and manage the day’s event, honor teachers according to the customs and present gifts to them and in return, teachers bless their students.

Commerce College celebrates Teacher’s Day

Teacher’s Day was celebrated today at Commerce College of MLSU and both faculty members and students were present on the occasion.

Dean of the college, Vijay Shrimali addressed the students and talked about the value of teachers in the life of students. Students honored all faculty members and offered gratitude.

PIBS Celebrates Teacher’s Day

Students of Pacific Institute of Business Studies (PIBS) celebrated Teacher’s Day today by honoring and welcoming teachers.

On the occasion, Dr. Mahendra Sojatia, Director of PIBS addressed the students and explained them the position of teacher as most significant in any student’s life.

Students also organized a competition for teachers. Prior to the event, students presented flower bouquets and greeting cards to the teachers and did cake cutting ceremony.

Hotel Management branch exhibits power point presentation

A power point presentation mesmerized the teachers of Pacific Institute of Hotel Management who were thrilled to see the collection of all past photographs of college picnic and cultural events.

Director of the institute Priyanka Arora was also present at the occasion.
