The Hospital has been established by the Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) and the construction work for this was started in 2005 by the then Chairperson of UMC Ravindra Shrimali.

The Hospital has been established by the Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) and the construction work for this was started in 2005 by the then Chairperson of UMC Ravindra Shrimali.

The undertaking of this hospital will be transferred to a Government organisation to serve the public.  Although delayed significantly, the people of this suburb will now get access to medical relief free of cost.

According to the information provided by a local newspaper, the first tender of around Rs. 15 lac was issued in June 2005 according to which, construction work was to be completed before December 2005.  As the contractor discontinued the task, a re-tendering was done in June 2009 and a new work order for Rs. 55 lac was issued in June 2009, this time the time line being set at 8 months.

Rajni Dangi, Chairperson of the UMC said, “Unfortunately, the construction work took a long time due to some technical problems, but now the hospital is ready to serve the people”.

The inaugural ceremony will commence at 3.00 pm in the hospital compound itself, in the presence of esteemed guests, viz.  Rajnath Singh, Gulabchand Katariya, MP Udaipur, who will be the Chief Guest, Raguveer Singh Meena, MLA, Udaipur, Dinesh Bhatt, Social Worker and Vedh Rameshwar Prasad, Social Worker.
