Elderly Man Drowned in Fateh Sagar
An elderly man died after being drowned in Lake Fateh Sagar today at 9am; however the body has been recovered at 1 pm by divers of municipal council. Ambamata Police has registered a case of accidental drowning.

Mushtaq Hussain Pachisawala (57), a resident at Photowala Wari, Kharol Colony died due to drowning in Lake Fateh Sagar.
According to sources, the incident took place today at morning when Mushtaq was washing his clothes near Madar Canal Gate, towards Dewali side of lake. A few women who came to perform religious ritual saw him going inside the water but he didn’t come out for long.
Concerned women informed people of the locality and later to the police who immediately came to the spot and tried to search for the victim. Several local swimmers dived to locate Mushtaq but their attempt failed till Nagar Parishad’s diver Chotu Bhai arrived with area Councilor Nafisa Saif and other officials.
Mushtaq Hussain’s body was found at 1 pm and he was soon recognized by few community people who were requested to come for the identification the body.
Mushtaq Hussain is survived by his wife Hasina and two children Mohammad (20) and Mubarika (25).
As per the sources, Mushtaq was unemployed from long time and had undergone heart operation a few months back. He could not balance himself while walking. He was supported financially by his brothers.
Diver Chotu Bhai said that the body was trapped inside a hole so it didn’t float; otherwise it was tough to find the body.
The family was informed while the body was shifted to mortuary at M.B Hospital for post mortem.
