Udaipur, January 29, 2025: The Udaipur Municipal Corporation has successfully cleared encroachments from its 10,000 square feet land in Bedla. The land had been freed from encroachments earlier, but on January 26, 2025, a few individuals took advantage of the holiday to begin unauthorized construction on the site.
Upon receiving complaints about the illegal activity, Revenue Officer Nitish Bhattnagar, along with his team, promptly reached the location. However, the encroachers, upon noticing the arrival of the authorities, fled the scene along with their bulldozers.
The team acted swiftly, filling the dug foundations with soil and demolishing the newly constructed structures. A Udaipur Municipal Corporation board was then installed at the site to mark the cleared land.
The Commissioner of Udaipur Municipal Corporation asked city residents to report any illegal encroachments on government land. He emphasized that strict action against encroachers would continue in the future to prevent further violations.
