The hustle-bustle of removing encroachment continued as personnel from Tehsil and UIT took combined action against the illegal land encroachment in the Ayad River area from 10.30 a.m. today.

“This encroachment removal is done under the weekly recurring plan of removing illegal land acquisition”, said Anil Kumar Sharma, Tehsil, UIT.

“Along with the usual encroachment, we have also removed illegally acquired land of around 8000 sq. meter worth Rs. 16 – 17 crore. The land was meant to be reserved under a public project”, he added.

The action is being jointly executed under the observation and control of UIT and Tehsil, where Anil Kumar Sharma, Bhagwan Lal, Tehsildaar, Girwa and Raju Soni, Junior Engineer were also present.
