Atirag Chaplot, a resident of Mavli and an ex-student of Alok School, Udaipur secured 15th rank in UPSC 2018 examination for becoming an IAS officer. Notably, he had earlier secured national rank 16 in CA examination.

Atirag is a resident of Sanwad in Mavli tehsil and did his complete IAS preparation by staying in his village only. He made up his mind of cracking IAS examination and ensured that nothing else came in his way. The first thing he shunned out was social media – he abstained completely from social media for last 5 years to allow him to focus completely on his studies.

Atirag started his schooling in Vidhya Niketan School in Sanwad and then did his education in Fatehnagar. He moved to Alok School Udaipur for his schooling from 8th to 12th grade. Post that he moved to Mumbai from where he did his B.Com and CA. He secured All India 16th rank in the CA examination.

Post his CA, Atirag got a lot of good job offers but with his aim of becoming an IAS officer, Atirag moved back to his hometown Sanwad for preparing for his IAS examinations. He prepared without any coaching. Atirag maintained that one can even top the UPSC examination without any coaching – one just needs to prepare well and take support of everyone around.

Bravo Atirag..If you needed any inspiration, this man is one!!
