On Sunday, October 13,2024 after the rain stopped, lake enthusiasts inspected the lake areas. They found that drains and sewer chambers were overflowing. The stepwell outside Ambamata Temple was filled with sewage and dirty water.

In many areas, rainwater did not drain properly, causing dirty water to collect outside homes. The lake enthusiasts said that, while families should take precautions to prevent diseases, the administration must ensure clean drinking water, public sanitation, and the cleanliness of water sources.

The inspection team included Dr. Anil Mehta, Tej Shankar Paliwal, Nandkishore Sharma, and Kushal Niraval.
