Udaipur, March 25, 2025 - A fire broke out near the Dharavi bus depot on the Sion-Dharavi Link Road around 9:50 pm on March 24, 2025. The fire started in a parked truck carrying LPG gas cylinders, leading to multiple explosions.

Eyewitnesses said the fire could have caused major destruction if the truck had been parked in a crowded residential area. Over 20 gas cylinders exploded in the fire. A nearby slum settlement was at risk, but no injuries were reported.

Some vehicles parked in a no-parking zone were damaged. Dharavi MLA Jyoti Gaikwad said the fire was triggered by a car catching fire and blamed unauthorized parking for the incident.

Fire brigade officials quickly controlled the fire, preventing further damage.
