Gulab Chand Kataria writes to Minister also for expansion of national highways and roads development in Udaipur
Udaipur, November 27, 2024. The Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria, has written a letter to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw requesting the extension of the Chetak Express to Chandigarh. The train currently runs from Udaipur to Delhi Sarai Rohilla.
In his letter, Kataria has also stressed on the need to expand certain national highways and develop roads in Udaipur. He has urged the drawing up of an action plan for these necessary implementation.
The Chetak Express Train No. 20474 is currently on a route starting from Udaipur and ending in Delhi Sarai Rohilla. It departs daily from Udaipur at 5:00 pm and reaches Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 5:05 am the following day. Similarly, the Chetak Express Train No. 20473 departs daily from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 7:40 pm and arrives in Udaipur at 7:48 am the next day.
Along the route, this train makes stops at several stations including Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Pataudi Road, Rewari, Ateli, Narnaul, Dabla, Neem Ka Thana, Kanwat, Shri Madhopur, Ringas, Renwal, Phulera, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Bijaynagar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Kapasan, Fatehnagar, Mavli and Rana Pratap Nagar.
