A father-son duo got injured at Udaipur-Kumbhalgarh road when their bike rammed into a hill. The bike lost control at a turn and dashed onto the hill. The duo got serious head injuires in this accident.
When the public in the area heard the sound of the accident at 4 p.m., they rushed to the accident spot. The irony of the situation is that some people were too busy taking selfies while one of the men rang the police and ambulance numbers several times.Until 4:23 p.m., none of the numbers responded. Then after the failed attempts, people stopped a private vehicle passing by that road and rushed the injured duo to the hospital. After some time, a head constable reached the accident spot in an ambulance. It was informed that just 18 kilometres away there is a police station where an ambulance is available all the time.
The head constable later informed that he was on a VIP duty and when he got the information of the accident, he called up on the ambulance number but got no response. Then he called the ambulance driver on his personal number and came to know that the ambulance driver was on his way from Udaipur.
