Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & technology celebrated India’s 66th Republic Day on 26th January with a series of enticing performances and ceremony.
The flag was hoisted by Vice Chancellor Prof O.P Gill who saluted the march past by NCC and NSS Students. In the speech, he commended the sacrifice of the freedom fighters and the noble heads that created the Constitution which holds all people in a single thread.
On the festive occasion, he honored the teachers and workers of the university and presented them appreciation letters. The students of Home Science gave folk dance performance. Dr. Gayatri Tiwari handled the event and Lt. P.S. Rao, Lt. S.S Sisodia, Under Officer Aditya Gupta and Rakesh Kumar guided the march past.
All the members of the administration, teaching staff, domestic help, students, examiners and others enthusiastically participated in the event.
