2 groups of students indulged in a fight followed by stone pelting in Commerce College. As per reports, inappropriate behaviour with a female student led to this heat. Police arrested the former President of the student union who as per the others had barely reached the spot when the fight took place. Later he was released when the students did a show-down at the police station.

Reportedly, a female student had complained of misconduct by one of the students. That particular group assembled and called the accused and while they were still talking to the student, the other group also reached there. They accused the first group of fake allegations and this gave rise to heated arguments and stone pelting between the two. Meanwhile, the other students guessed trouble and left the college premises. Police was informed who arrested the former president of student union and this gave rise to protest. As per the former president, talks were on with the accused student who even begged forgiveness but the group that he belongs to started the fight unnecessarily.
