After all the opposition of patakha bazaar in Puja Park, it has finally been directed by Jodhpur High Court that patakha bazaar will not be set up here. Decision of Jodhpur High Court has brought great relief to the residents of Hiranmagri, Sector 4.

Residents of Hiranmagri had appealed in Jodhpur High Court regarding the opposition against patakha bazaar. They had demanded that no patakha bazaar must be set up as it disturbs the cleanliness and serenity of the park. They presented all the published materials in the court which stated that public was strictly against patakha market here for obvious reasons.

As per reports, Justice Sangeet Lodha and Dinesh Mehta issued notices to Municipal Corporation and asked them to report by 30^th November. Along with this, High Court also strictly prohibited setting up of fireworks market in residential colonies. This directive made it clear that corporation will not be able to set up a patakha market in this park but the date of response was much later than the festival which is on 7^th November. Hence the residents approached Jodhpur High Court regarding this issue as the local court had dismissed their appeal.
