Udaipur, December 24,2024 - The UDA imposed fines on Monday, December 23,2024 on shopkeepers near Fateh Sagar for spreading garbage. The action was taken to maintain cleanliness around the area, and the shopkeepers were fined Rs 5,000/-.

Garbage Issue at Mumbaiya Bazaar

Mumbaiya Bazaar, located near Fateh Sagar lake, has food shops and carts that attract both tourists and locals. However, the waste from these shops is often left in the open, instead of being disposed of in garbage bins, affecting the cleanliness of the area.

The UDA’s Lake Patrol Team visited Mumbaiya Bazaar and found garbage scattered outside 10 shops. Each shop was fined Rs 500/- for not keeping the area clean.
