There was a massive fire in a cooler godown in Mali colony on Sunday night. Late night around 12:30 the cooler godown caught fire. Reasons for fire are not yet known.

The factory Zenox India belongs to Kunal Choudhary. Coolers are assembled here and the godown was closed since it is open only during working hours, hence no casualties have been reported in terms of harm to life, but there has been a loss of crores of rupees due to fire.

There is a tent house in front of the factory. The fear of fire spreading over to the tent house kept the people under terror. Fire went out of control since the assembling products like chemicals and plastic bodies were lying inside. 7 fire brigade vehicles somehow managed to douse the fire by 3 a.m.

In the past one year, there have a number of incidents of fire. 7 people got burnt alive in a chemical factory in Sukher. Administration is not taking relevant steps in this direction. Security systems in factories are not being checked. Reportedly a lot of factories are running without a proper license.
