Cracked windshield because of fired bullet 

Two bullets were fired at close range at BJP (City) General Secretary Motilal Dangi when he was in his chauffeur driven BMW today at around 11am near his house at Durga Nursery Road.

Fortunately for Dangi, he escaped unhurt as one bullet passed through the windshield and stuck near the seat belt while one bullet was shot from behind the car and did not touch him.

This daylight incident shocked the locality and the entire political circle of Udaipur.  A number of BJP leaders called Dangi to enquire about his wellbeing.  A case has been registered at Bhopalpura Police Station against three unidentified assailants.

According to sources, Motilal Dangi was going in his white BMW car to Sagasji Bawji Temple at Sarv Ritu Vilas, a usual day trip.

Terrified with the attack, Dangi immediately rushed to Surajpol Police Station where Additional S.P Tejraj Singh and Deputy Officer Anant Kumar took the information.

“We have found two empty cartridges from the spot and a case has been registered with the Bhopalpura Police Station.  Barricades and blockades have been installed in the city and the outskirts. We have also got some clues from the spot”, said Tejraj Singh.

While talking to police, Dangi denied any hostility with anyone.  According to sources, Motilal Dangi also has a well-established Real Estate business and has also invested in the share market.
