In the ongoing Road Safety Week, Rotarct Club Aishwarya in association with Dr. M. N. Tandon Charitable Trust organized a workshop on First Aid and Life Saving Techniques at Aishwarya College auditorium.

Professor Dr. Lalit Kumar (inset) of RNT Medical College (Anesthesia Department) demonstrated how to respond through first aid, by giving right medical assistance in right time to save the ailing victim’s life.

According to Dr. Vijaylaxmi Parmar, Principal of the college, “the motive of this workshop is to teach students about life saving techniques to prepare them for any situation”.

During workshop session, several life saving methods were explained by Dr. Lalit Kumar, including cardiac arrest, flowing of blood, case of electrocution, burn case and other fatal accidents. Another important technique, the procedure of responding to child with CPCR was also taught.
