Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, being one of the youngest member amongst other IIMs across India, is through with its first successful batch of 58 students of which nearly 70% of the students secured placement through campus, while placement process of remaining students is still going on; first convocation ceremony will be organised on 22^nd March.

Today could be considered to be the most important date in the history of IIM-U, as on this very day the First Batch of IIMU completed successfully.

According to Shefali Bhatnagar, Placement Coordinator, IIMU, “Placement is still under process so we cannot disclose exact figures”. However, unofficial sources informed that around 75% of the batch has been placed with some of the top multinationals across globe, while convocation for this batch is scheduled on 22^nd March.

Adding a historical turnaround in the field of education sector in the city, the PGP batch of the year 2011-13 had started in a temporary building of Polymer Science at MLSU campus on 29^th July 2011. Following the same sequence, second batch of 150 students were added in this prestigious Institute in the next year.
