About to leave for Delhi, she tested positive.

At present she is at home and is reportedly feeling good.

India’s first covid patient has tested positive again after almost a year and a half. The young woman from Thrissur who was a third year medical student student from Wuhan University had tested positive on January 30, 2020.

She had tested positive in 2020 days after her return from Wuhan following semester holidays.

She was all set to leave for Delhi for the purpose of studies when her RT-PCR report turned out to be positive. The young woman is, however, asymptomatic.

The woman is now under home quarantine and is well, as reported by one of the doctors. It may be noted that after 3 weeks of treatment in Thrissur Medical College Hospital in 2020, she had undergone 2 tests for covid and both reports came out to be negative. After this she was discharged in February 2020.
