For the first time in history, a set of tourists have booked all the cabins of luxury train, Palace on Wheels. The booking has been done by 41 Australian tourists at Rs 1.3 Crores.

This is the case of first chartered booking of Palace on Wheels. The group will travel to Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and Agra. The train will start from Delhi and return back to Delhi in a week’s time.

The tourists who booked Palace on Wheels are members of the worldwide rail journey group. The group reached Delhi on Wednesday.

The luxury train has been running for the last 36 years and boasts of amenities including a spa and a gym.
