First train for Rameshvaram left with 629 pilgrims

Devsthan Vibhag along with the State Government has organized Pilgrim for the aged citizens, in which first train was flagged off from Udaipur City Station last night, with around 626 pilgrims. The train will reach Rameshvaram on 16th August and would leave for Udaipur.

The train will reach Rameshvaram on 16th August and would leave for Udaipur.

In this first train 629 shortlisted passengers were chosen on the basis of lucky draw few weeks back, they boarded for pilgrim tour of Rameshvaram, in which nearly 90 passengers failed to reach the venue to complete the process, due to which 70 passengers from waiting list were given the opportunity.

Sources informed that in this train 163 passengers are from Chittor, 87 and 86 from Pratapnagar and Banswada respectively will board during the course of train.

In this special programme started by DevsthanVibhag, individuals of lower income group and aged citizens will be benefited, who would be given a lifetime opportunity to visit various holy places, on the expense of State Government.
