Udaipur, February 27, 2025 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the UGC NET December 2024 session on February 22, 2025. Among the top performers, Anam Zafar from Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) secured a 100 percentile score.

Anam Zafar, a 25-year-old student, is in the final semester of her M.Ed. course at MANUU. She has become the first woman from the university to achieve All India Rank 1 in UGC NET JRF. 

The UGC NET December 2024 exam was conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) covering 85 subjects. It was held over nine days, with 16 sessions at 558 centers across 266 cities in India. A total of 8,49,166 candidates appeared for the exam.

NTA released the provisional answer key on January 31, 2025. Candidates were allowed to raise objections until February 3, 2025, by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200/- per question.
