During the 42nd Rajasthan State Senior Men and Women Powerlifting Competition held at Gandhi Park in Bandikui (Dausa), the Udaipur team achieved remarkable success, securing a total of five medals. Their achievements included two gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. Gaurav Sahu served as the team manager, while Bhupendra Vyas played the role of their coach. Vinod Sahu, the Secretary of the District Powerlifting Association in Udaipur, provided the following information: Himanshu Khokhawat won the gold medal in the 66 kg weight category by lifting 625 kg. In the women's 57 kg weight category, Mahi Chauhan set two new state records in the squat and total, lifting a total weight of 372.5 kg and securing the gold medal.

Prachi Soni secured the silver medal in the 63 kg weight category by lifting a total of 342.5 kg. Similarly, in the 76 kg weight category, Payal Nalwaya earned the bronze medal by lifting a total weight of 310 kg. Shreya Singh won the bronze medal in the 84 kg weight category by lifting a total weight of 365 kg. With their remarkable performances, the Udaipur team accomplished a brilliant feat, winning a total of five medals, including two gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. Dinesh Shrimali, the President of the Rajasthan State Powerlifting Association, along with Vinod Sahu, the Secretary, and Ajay Gurjar, the Treasurer of the association, extended their congratulations to all the medal-winning players from Udaipur District. Jalam Chand Jain, Secretary of the Olympic Association, also expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the team.

Their remarkable success highlights the team's dedication, skill, and determination in the sport of powerlifting. The team members' hard work and talent were evident as they competed against strong opponents and emerged victorious. Their impressive medal tally serves as a testament to their exceptional abilities and marks a significant achievement for the Udaipur team in the realm of powerlifting.
