Udaipur-Delhi IndiGo Flight Gets Bomb Threat

Udaipur, October 25, 2024 – Today, October 25, another flight in Udaipur received a bomb threat call creating panic for the second consecutive day. IndiGo flight number 6E 2099 was scheduled to depart from Udaipur to Delhi at 12:05 pm when it had to be delayed on receiving a bomb threat. Standard operating procedures were followed and authorities evacuated the aircraft. Passengers were instructed to leave their belongings and move to a safe distance, a passenger recounted.  

The police and the airport security team conducted a thorough search of the bags of passengers with the help of a sniffer dog squad and metal detectors.

However, no suspicious items were found during the inspection.

Yesterday, October 24, two bomb threats disrupted flights Delhi-Udaipur-Ahmedabad via Udaipur and a flight coming from Mumbai. After threats in two consecutive days, airport authorities have tightened security measures.
